3^rd Annual International Conference

The AAJCP announces its 3^rd Annual International Conference, The Institute of Evidence-Based & Best Practices on May 31-June 4, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency in Miami, Florida. The AACJP Conference will include four main tracks of research and practice; Offender Treatment, ReEntry, Family Violence and Chaotic Households and Victim Empowerment. Please visit the Advocate Program for more details.

Our CEO Felicia Adler Mayer is quoted in the Alliance for Children and Families Magazine Winter 2008 article titled "Accreditation Opens Doors to Excellence for Alliance Agencies."  The article stresses the benefits & importance of accreditation to service providers.  She is quoted as saying, "All of that work forces us to do intensive continuous quality improvement work," she says, "which in the end is better for the organization and for the service we provide to our clients."
